with acclaimed actor Joshua Sasse

Born in London, Sasse spent his early childhood in Nepal before returning to England for his education and his theatre training at the age of 15, first at Hurtwood House and then at Peter Brooks Cygnet Training Theatre.
After nine years of working in the theatre - including the West End - Sasse moved his endeavor to film and television, landing his first role in the 2010 British film “The Big I Am,” and then the horror film “Frankenstein’s Army” before starring in the TV drama series “Rogue.”
Josh’s credits include - Sir Gary Galavant in ABC’s Galavant (2015-2016). Other credits include The Big I Am (2010), Frankenstein’s Army (2012), Rogue (2013–2014), The Neighbors (2014), No Tomorrow (2016–2017), Monarch (2022), Love Is in the Air (2023), and Outrageous (2024).
Sasse currently lives and works between London, Los Angeles and Byron Bay.
What you will get -
Participants will experience all of the classical Drama-School techniques that students in England experience during their courses 1-3yr courses.
This will include a technical approach to the text, character and dialogue preparation.
Physical techniques and exercises to loosen and prepare the body for character development and rehearsal.
Vocal methods for the actor to prepare for all mediums including accent coaching in preparation for a wide varieties of accents.
Audition preparation for screen and stage, audition and self-tape including Practices used for Camera work in general.
Methods to evaluate their own screen material and of cinematic material in general with a view to using it for practical improvement and inspiration.
Actors will work on specific accent training with Joshua Sasse
Script work with the processes Sasse uses to breakdown a script and find intention.
On screen audition techniques for self taping, alongside recording a self tape at the end of the five weeks.
Guest attendees from the industry joining for feedback, to watch the showcase on week 5.

All actors are to bring material they would like to work on that they have learnt - (off book) one to two minutes long - a monologue or scene.
